The last one goes out!

In mid-October 2021, the Czech energy market experienced the biggest shock in its modern history. As a result of rising wholesale electricity and gas prices, the energy group Bohemia Energy, which provided supply services to almost a million customers in the Czech Republic, ceased operations overnight on October 13, 2021. Speculation on low energy prices on international markets drove this company, including its "subsidiaries", to bankruptcy and caused huge problems, especially for their regular clients.

We know what we're talking about - we were one of them.

There was a multiple increase in prices for these households and their "voluntary" obligation to register with the 3 largest domestic energy players as the "supplier of last resort". As one of the largest of them boasted at the time on its website - most of the new customers thus acquired were happy and (understandably) on their recommendation to conclude standard contracts with them with a fixation for 3 years.

The overpopulated pond has been cleared. Forget it!

More energy-poor years followed and subsidies came into play.

They were not addressed to pond tadpoles, because as is known, tadpoles cannot speak and therefore logically cannot ask for them.

It was mainly the large fish that needed to be protected.

The former ended up with the simplest austerity measure, such as “the last one at home goes out!” The latter decided on the tactic of “take it when they give it to you.” The former paid it publicly like a tabby, the latter received it chastely and secretly .

And what did the former fishmongers say? They unanimously said that it was evil and destructive .

The venerable Radio ГA / ГA as corpulent scumbags also belonged to the latter group of chaste in the past.

As follows from the public source "State Watch" , this company chastely accepted a total of 9 subsidies from various state institutions, summary almost 4 million crowns (3,692,388 CZK).

You ask, why are we mentioning this here in this highly energetically conceived contribution? And moreover, when this is such a flagrant case of the eternally valid "stupid is he who gives, stupider is he who does not take"?

It is precisely the largest amount of CZK 3,505,104 from this "subsidy backpack" that this honorable non-profit American company, nourished by regular donations and contributions from its American taxpayers #UTP ("US Tax Payers") and #USAGM ("US Global media"), received in 2023 from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic .

As the petitioner modestly stated in the description of the request – it was "support to cover increased costs" .

Since we have not yet been able to obtain details of this request, it is most likely a response to " Call 1 of the support program for increased costs of natural gas and electricity due to the exceptionally sharp increase in their prices ", which this esteemed ministry announced at the beginning of the same year. It is further stated here that this is a subsidy title, where " The support is provided on the basis of Section 2.4 of the Communication from the European Commission as a "Temporary Crisis Framework" for State aid measures to support the economy following Russia's aggression against Ukraine (2022/C 131 I/01)" and the Communication from the European Commission "Amendment of the Temporary Crisis Framework for State aid measures to support the economy following Russia's aggression against Ukraine" (C(2022) 5342 final) (hereinafter referred to as the "EC Temporary Crisis Framework" ).

We are currently investigating which category of beneficiaries of this subsidy this company belonged to and actually the current, fishmongers placed Radio ГA / ГA in based on its affidavit. We collectively cannot agree with the opinion that it was a typical Czech company with energy-intensive operations, as we can read in the "beneficiaries of this subsidy" section.

The remaining, almost 200,000 "backpack" of subsidies, which actually also came from our taxes, were largely pocketed by all our health insurance companies, with the justification that it was to "remove harshness in assessing penalties."

That something like - "...you know, we didn't mean it like that with our fine. So good forever, right?"

And finally, of this amount, exactly 100 thousand crowns from our/your taxes are "Removing the harshness of the law according to the provisions of Section 104 ch, paragraph 2, Act 582/1992 Coll., as amended ", which could be loosely translated into everyday language as one of the well-known quotes from "Poets" movie.

By the way, very similarly to what was described in one of our "bearded posts" in another of our matters here, more precisely in the matter of the statement of the "Office for Personal Data Protection" which was ignored by it as well.

As one former fishmonger once said:
